Clinton, Romney Lead In Polls! But it's not a good thing for them.
Romney second to Hillary in the can't-stand-'em poll
Two Bombs Were Set To Blow In London
How embarrasing is it as a jihadi to have your car bomb towed away?
Don't mess with a Marine.
I like the pic. The whole blog entry is here. Since you won't see any reports on CNN or CBS or anything.
Jason Steck (Tutakai) takes a look at more bad framing theory being pushed by MSNBC/Newsweek. As usual, it promotes the notion that the public is just too damn dumb to appreciate the "progressive" approach, or comprehend that conservatives are evil.
Makes you wonder if Romney's
Makes you wonder if Romney's staff is going around chanting "We're #2! We're #2!"
I'm not a huge fan
but I have watched several debates and Hillary has stood WAY out in front. I listened to her answer a black caucus over what she would do about Darfur. A no-fly zone right now and arm-twisting on China. She sounded like she was ready to send in the marines. Her clear direct answer drew a bigger response than Obama's. In the same debate she drew a bigger cheer when asked if she would accept the UN?s mandates and make a law here ordering the return of all Katrina refugees. The biggest cheer without saying yes just misdirection! She was the only one not to answer the question. Nope, she is not about to be seen taking orders from the UN and does seem to improve with time.
In the end, Democrats will rally if she is the pick. I still say she trounces Romney, beats Rudy (there are many questionable moves in his past not yet publicly vetted) and McCain (is he still running?) is a question mark now. That leaves Fred who hasn't faced the music yet. Polls are polls. There is plenty of time and consider three things: Hillary is sounding less grating on the ears (looks better) and is crisp and confident (media will be behind her though not talk radio). In addition, Bill is a big cannon to poke those Independents. Against this is the relentless backdrop of Partial Birth and Segregations fears, Deportation of Immigrant fears (Calderon is not happy with the vote), Iraq fears, etc that will be toked up to the maximum. Add to that, Republican problems with Cheney, Gonzales, the environment, Katrina etc and Hillary can win despite the present negative numbers. Of course Bush helps her cause these days.
Throw in Bloomberg?
But what the hell do I know? I still wish there was a better list to pick from and alot could still change.
Yes, Romney is saying two two two
I want a compilation of Gravel?s responses. Hysterical?..
Promises, Promises (everybody sing!)

I'm not trying to challenge you, maxtrue, as I read centerfield and enjoy and often agree to your opinions. But how can we deal with China when we allow a non-state fugitive fleet like AQ whoop our tails in Iraq? And a no-fly zone in Darfur? I'm not familiar with no-fly zones, but the butchery is on the ground.

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but are you saying that we cannot pressure China (or anyone) as long as we are at a stand-off in Iraq? If China does not keep that GDP flying, their internal friction will explode in riots. I don't think they want problems with the EU and the US over Darfur.
No-fly zones can be effective as a start. I'm not suggesting I know that Hillary's proposals would work. I was just observing that her words were tougher than most GOP and Democrats. She didn't pause to consider. She just delivered a direct, forceful response that military action was the pressure needed now in Darfur, if Sudan blinks. What other words could appease a crowd that has been watching white Muslims slaughter black Africans for years? I think Hillary is sincere about turning up the pressure. A no fly will limit the Sudanese government from using helicopters (who sold them to Sudan?) to attacks refugee camps.
