Move over Chicago, CA is making a run for the corrupt politics crown. Sacramento lawyer and Democratic Party superdelegate Steven Ybarra says that he will sell his vote to whichever Democrat candidate pays him $20 million.
Well, some people need to be convinced of the political and
long-term policy benefits of picking a candidate, and for some, illegal cash payments will do. (Sigh.) Can someone from either campaign handle this straightaway, and tell this crook to keep his cash, please?
"In the world you will find tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
so then can I get 20 bucks
So then can I get 20 bucks for my vote in November?
I could probably get talked down to ten...
...and it would still be the first time I felt like a politician really did something for me, unless you count the time Representative Frank Woodward gave me a "vote for francis woodward" comb.
It was a good comb. Lasted almost 5 years. And he always had my vote.

I have often said, and oftener think, that this world is a comedy for those who think, and a tragedy for those who feel. -Horace Walpole
Now, Fern....
The man's not demanding $20 million cash in his pocket. He wants one of the candidates to spend $20 million on a voter registration drive targeting citizens (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here) who are of Mexican ancestry. That's little different from promising an endorsement in return for an ironclad promise to take some policy stance.
