Predictable but effective.

McCain's new ad trades on Hillary's endorsement of McCain. Told you so. She's left in the position of admitting she was wrong then or that she's wrong now.

Boy they are going to hammer

Boy they are going to hammer this theme. It is an effective ad. I have to admit, long before any candidate was chosen, my theme's included "competence" and "centrist", Neither candidate is a centrist but if reaching across the aisle (not just speaking across the aisle) is "centrist"-like then McCain wins on that mark. Clearly, McCain has much greater experience and skill. Could he end up doing poorly, sure. Could Sen. Obama turn out to meet the demands of the job, certainly. But...

And finally, I'll have to admit, better things have happened with a split government than without. Ironically, I say all this knowing as a physician that if McCain is elected we won't get signficant health care reform and that is long overdue.

Anyway....
Chris

The ad also serves the

The ad also serves the further purpose of making Clinton supporters feel betrayed, not just by the party but by Clinton as well.
