I now confidently and fearlessly predict that the DNC Rules Committee, which meets on May 31st, will seat both the Florida AND Michigan delegations. They will, however, apply the 50% delegate reduction penalty as called for in the official 2008 DNC Delegate Selection Rules.

I also predict that Senator Clinton (who will net some 40-50 additional delegates from the decision at most, assuming the Edwards delegates go to Obama, along with the "uncommitted" Michigan delegates) will claim credit for getting Michigan and Florida seated. She will additionally lay off all her hyperbolic rhetoric of the last two weeks as being completely justified in the fight to NOT disenfranchise the voters of Michigan and Florida.
Senator Obama (who will still have the majority in delegates after the decision) will hail the compromise as just and fair, point to the original rules as support for the decision, and do his best to repair the damage caused by his own campaign's part in zealously attempting to TOTALLY disenfranchise the voters of Michigan and Florida. He will sound utterly sincere when angling for credit, though only his more credulous and less critical followers will believe it.
Somewhere, somehow, a pony will be involved, as foretold in the prophecy.
Senator Clinton will continue on to a major victory in Puerto Rico that will still leave her lagging in the delegate race, will still not get her the nomination, but will further up-leverage her "bankroll" for the upcoming intra-party power scrimmage. She will have a slim lead in the popular vote tallies including all primaries and caucuses. The popular vote will continue to not count. She will at some point thereafter cut a deal and withdraw, while expressing her regrets, thanking her supporters, and uttering such phrases as "...unite and move into the future...". There will be much rejoicing.
Left to determine: That inevitable Clinton concession to Obama, and the exact shape of The Inevitable Deal.
(I also fearlessy predict I will commit numerous typos in my original posting, resulting in a high initial veiws count from correcting them all one at a time...)
