Covering their behinds

CBS News writes, about Sarah Palin's forthcoming book:

She alleges that Couric and CBS left out her more "substantive" remarks and settled for "gotcha" moments. She writes that Couric had a "partisan agenda" and a condescending manner. Couric was "badgering," biased and far easier on Couric's Democratic counterpart, Joe Biden (watch the full Couric/Palin interview).

LOL! Note that last line. We're supposed to read something like, "here's what Palin says, and you can watch the footage and make up your own minds." What CBS means by "the full Couric/Palin interview," however, is the edited product that CBS originally ran--the abridgment of which is the crux of Palin's point.

any existing evidence?

So does anyone have an actual evidence that Palin would look more intelligent and coherent if we viewed the entire length of unedited Couric interview footage? It's an encouraging hypothesis. Especially for Palinphiles such as yourself.

But I have yet to see any footage of Palin which makes her look especially thoughful, insightful, and well-versed in conservative thought. Whenever I see footage of her, she struggles with the basic conservative catechisms, for gosh sake.
