It's a vlog about the odd last few days that I've been AWOL from a blog called Stubborn Facts. ;)
A lot of this had to be left on the cutting room floor, so hopefully it's still coherent. I recorded about 20 minutes (and digressed a fair amount onto other subjects) before realizing that YouTube apparently has a ten minute limit, so it was either do something insufferably pretentious and split it into two chapters, or just edit it down and remove the blather about cooking and wine. Hopefully it's still coherent, and hopefully it's enjoyable. :)

Well, Simon, all I can say....
Is that you're obviously drunk! ;-)
(Note for those who don't follow anti-Althousania: The above is a joke, a parody of the anti-Althouse brigade who keep insisting, falsely, that Ann was practically falling down drunk during one of her vlogging sessions. You folks know who you are.)
If I can discuss Utah v.
If I can discuss Utah v. Evans while toasted, I think I ought to get offers to be a paralegal. Or at least, some kind of nerd award. ;)
This had to be kind of mellow and quiet, because the kiddo was in bed, so no opportunity to pull out my best Rehnquist baritone impression. ;) Nevertheless, it was kind of fun to do, so I might give it another try sometime, albeit with a better microphone. I'm having fun writing the essay as well, don't let my complaining on the vlog fool you - it's just taking a lot of time to get my ducks into a row. I'm trying to remember off the top of my head what all cases are discussed, but Jacksonville, Adarand, Vermont Agency, GM v. Tracy, Laidlaw, Utah v. Evans, Steel Co., Raines v. Byrd, and so on.
Speak Up!! Chris

Heh - yeah it starts out
Heh - yeah it starts out okay and the microphone drifts further and further away. ;)
