"Wear a cup"

Wear a cup

As an Alaskan I watched the debates between Palin and Murkowski (a very unpopular republican incumbent gov) in the primaries and Palin and Knowles (a VERY popular democratic past gov). And I can say it had better be a double layer titanium steel cup. She can be pretty vicious. I was a bit put off by it in fact. But she came armed with facts and was never at a loss. In that regard she was very impressive. The folks who liked her speech last night are going to love her debate with Biden. I'm not a Palin supporter (voted for Knowles) but there's a 99% sureity she will kick his ass.

I also got a kick out of the pundits treatment of Alaskans. You know, the hicks up north. Believe it or not some of have recently lerned to reed and rite.

I feel for you, Dennis. Last

I feel for you, Dennis. Last election I had trouble convincing people that Kansans didn't really have to worry much about being trampled by stampeding cattle, and that despite the best efforts of the fundies, no school district in the state that I was aware of was teaching creationism instead of evolution in science classrooms. :-)

Heh, my favorite comment on

Heh, my favorite comment on this meme (unfortunately I can't source it because I just caught it and LOL'ed, then moved on) went something like this:

"After watching Palin last night, I think that Obama ought to watch out because Jesse Jackson might get his wish..."
