McCain says:

"In the 21st century, nations don’t invade other nations." They do, Senator, when they deem it in their national interest. Better (if not problem-free) is McCain's op/ed today on the subject. "Two years ago, I traveled to South Ossetia," McCain writes; the unspoken but obvious dangling question being "when were you last in South Ossetia, Mr. Obama?" I immediately think of this:

General: "Oh come on. You're just an analyst. [How] can you possibly know goes on in his mind?"
Jack Ryan: "I know Ramius ... I actually met him once, at an embassy dinner. Have you ever met Captain Ramius, General?
General: "[glowers]"
Jeffrey Pelt: "[smirks]"
Ryan: "Yeah! How'd you like that, bitch? You got any other catty remarks you want shot down?" (Okay, I made this last one up. But don't tell me that's not what he's thinking.)
